How the comparison works
The tool does two things. It divides each total by its number of openings, which is the only figure that survives quotes of different sizes. Then it compares every field you entered and marks it as the same, different or unknown. A quote that costs more per opening while specifying full-frame installation, exterior capping and a longer labour warranty is not more expensive for the same job: it is a different job.
