How UpgradeWorth verifies quote cases
Every case carries a verification tier, stated on the case itself. The tier describes what we checked, never the contractor’s proposal.

What qualifies as a case here
A case is published only when it meets all of the following:
- It comes from an anonymized submission to UpgradeWorth, or from a publicly visible homeowner discussion we can link to.
- It states the number of openings and the total, so a cost per opening can be calculated where the scope allows it.
- It says enough about product and installation scope to teach something.
- Nothing that could identify a household or a named individual is reproduced, and we do not republish forum posts.
- Anything the quote did not specify is listed as missing, rather than filled in by assumption.
- Prices are dated, because a quote from four years ago is a lesson, not a benchmark.
